well, this looks like absolutely nuts. Ang Lee has increasingly tended towards sumptuous imagery, and has impressively done so without sacrificing the brave command of character that made him such an important filmmaker to begin with. can’t say if i’d be quite as excited for Life of Pi if someone else were at the helm, but i think we’re in good hands.
